Student / Youth policy (YEAR ROUND) Student / Youth Travelers are defined as any guest 24 years of age and younger traveling without legal parent / guardian and is applicable at ALL Oasis properties on a year round basis. As a general rule, the Grand Oasis Cancún will be the only property that will accept Student / Youth GROUPS (not applicable to family travel). Good
Basically check in is not happening before 4pm and the staff are not friendly at all. At the end after 6 hours waiting they gave me a room which was noisy because of renovations happening in the roof of front building. Moreover I was looking for someone to helpe to connect to internet for 2 days and they were not friendly at all. You'll waste your one day just for check in and getting enough informations.

You get what you pay for
The breakfast was great. It was the only thing included in our reservation. The wait staff were nice in the buffet. The bed was comfy and we loved the hammocks outside in the garden area. The huge pool that spanned the width of the pyramid hotel was very nice. Swim up bar was good, and entertainment area was good. The scenery throughout the hotel (outside walking areas) are nice and clean.
However I disliked the hotel because it was advertised as "All Inclusive" but it was not. We had to pay extra for the next 3 levels. We were only given free breakfast. Out of the 8 restaurants the hotel provides, it would be nice if we could be offered at least 4 restaurants. The ice cream was not even included, ridiculous! Our room was not correct so we had to walk a long way to the front desk to get it corrected. The fridge in our room was not working. We asked the staff in the end of the hallway TWICE to fix it because I had a bottle of champagne I wanted chilled for my birthday. They never fixed or replaced the fridge at all. Very disappointing. The safe in the room did not work either, which I really wanted to use to store our passports and extra cash and we could not. The front desk girl that helped us at check-in took forever helping us, she seemed new, but I'm not too mad about that, everyone has to go through training at some point. Overall the hotel was average.
